Paper presented at BuildSys '18
UIL researcher Andrew Sonta presented his paper "Inferring occupant ties: automated inference of occupant network structure in commercial buildings" at the 5th Conference on Systems for Built Environments (BuildSys '18) in Shenzen, China. Nice work Andrew!
UIL presented 2 papers, 3 posters at i3CE in Atlanta
UIL members Andrew, Jon and Rohan presented papers (2) and posters (3) at the 2019 ASCE International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE) in Atlanta, GA. Thanks to our colleagues at Georgia Tech for hosting! Check out the two papers here and here.
We are excited to be co-leading a $1.7 M grant from the U.S. Department of Energy titled "I-DREEM (Impact of Demand Response on short and long-term building Energy Efficiency Metrics) with Prof. Johanna Mathieu (EECS, Michigan). Prof. Ian Hiskens (EECS, Michigan) and Prof. Jeremiah Johnson (CCE, North Carolina State) are also collaborators on the project. Support from the Building Technology Office (BTO) at the U.S. Department of Energy is gratefully acknowledged.
